I was honored to be chosen by the White House to illustrate for "Christmas at the White House 2007". The year's theme was "Holiday in the National Parks".

This brochure was distributed to all of the people who toured the White House during the holidays.

You can see this booklet used in an official White House video, featuring the "Barney Cam" and President Bush by visiting our video page.

You'll see the dogs, Barney and Mrs. Beazley, playing on the snowy White House lawn with a volleyball, which was the inspiration for one of my paintings.

This is one of the 1,000 hand-painted Christmas bulbs that I did for the President and Mrs. Bush in 2007. These were given as gifts to friends of the President and also to dignitaries.
My first White House trip was in 2002 for the Easter Egg Roll. I was chosen to decorate the Easter Egg for my home state of Michigan.

Local artists created the decorated eggs, which represented each state and the District of Columbia. The 2002 Easter Egg Collection continued the tradition that began in 1994 where each state sends a decorated egg to the White House for display. The display included a painted cracked egg representing Virginia and the Sept. 11 attack on the Pentagon. The collection is coordinated by the American Egg Board.
